Also situated in Monzenmachi, TeppanyakiMabou is also a very popular place to eat Akaushi beef. Teppanyaki is aJapanese style of cooking where the aliments are cooked on an iron plate. Ihighly recommend you seat at the counter if possible so you can enjoy thechef’s performance. It’s like watching a dance show!
I had the chance to eat the most popularitem on the menu, Akaushi garlic rice (1600-yen tax included)! What to sayexcept that is absolutely delicious and that I would be able to eat it everyday. Garlic rice, a fried egg and, on the top, an already cut piece of steak. On the side I also got some miso soup with yamaimo in it (my first timeenjoying yamaimo in a soup). Highly recommended!
